The difference is our take on the other view: you think that dualism is at fault and that those holding that view are defining personhood as the (dualist) mind, distinct and sometimes not present in the body. One view is that human beings are of value only because of what we do, or at least are capable of doing. In this view, a person in the embryonic stage of development is not worthy of protection as a human being because (s)he has not yet developed the minimal set of abilities that defines a human person.
